2024 Events

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, Kel’s Kove RV Park & Marina will host the Louisiana Legends Fest Bass Tournament presented by the Claiborne Parish Watershed District.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Entry Fee: $200 per boat
Big Bass: $20 per person (optional)

Prizes: First Place: $3,000

Second Place: $1,500

Third Place: $500

Start Time: Safe daylight to 2:00pm

Top 3 Winners will be awarded prize money on stage at LA Legends Fest at 4:00 p.m. downtown Homer.

Tournament Rules

• All state & federal rules will apply to this tournament.

• Pre-fishing ends at 12:00 a.m. Friday, October 18th.

• 1⁄4 pound penalty for dead fish weighed.

• Big bass must be live to win.

• 5 fish limit.

• Minimum length of fish will be 12”.

• Must wear PFD while operating the big motor.

• All disputes must be addressed prior to closing of the scales.

• No alcohol prior to or while fishing the tournament.

• No more than 2 anglers per boat.

• Boats that pre-register will be assigned a number in the order of registering for takeoff.

• Boats that register the morning of will be last to take off, in the order of registration that morning.

• Insurance: All boat owners must maintain a minimum of $100,000 liability insurance on the boat used in the tournament. Documentation shall be provided to the Tournament Director upon request.
